scribblestash Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

scribblestash ("we", "us") is an app for parents and guardians to photograph their children's artwork, keep it organized, and turn it into a printed book. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

scribblestash is for adults. Children do not use the app or create accounts. Any information about a child is entered by a parent or guardian.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not readable by us.

Photos of artwork. The photos you take, plus the cleaned-up versions the app produces from them.

Information about your children. Only what you choose to enter: a name, and optionally a grade, a photo, and book cover choices such as a title. You can use a first name or nickname instead of a real name.

Titles and captions. The artwork titles and captions the app generates, and any edits you make to them.

Book details. Which pieces are in each child's book, their order, the school year, and the status of the book.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tools.

Camera access

The app asks for camera access to photograph artwork. Photos are used only inside the app, as described in this policy. The app does not use the microphone.

How we use it

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run the app. They may process your information only to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account, your children's information, your artwork and your books from our systems. Orders already sent to print cannot be recalled, and we keep basic order and payment records as the law requires.

Your choices

Children's privacy

scribblestash is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Information about a child is provided by their parent or guardian. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at lucycarp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Photos are stored in a private area that is separated per account. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access and use well-established providers.

Where data is processed

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
